took out a power pole and you can see this pole is leading. the reason why he did not take up the electricity to the nearby homes, he did take up the street lights and when the police arrived it was already--he was already outside the truck's sitting on the sidewalk. he suffered injuries but was he is interviewed, he will be arrested with multiple charges. his name has not been released. he is in his 20s and his name has not been released. >> an apartment fire near san francisco state university in just two people. the fire is under control now. joining us live as mike pelton. >> this building is part of this apartment complex. this

is a building where some college students live. this was a 2 alarm blaze. at least one of the residents captured the fire on camera. you concede video showing this giant ball of flames. some of the flames appeared to issue up and out of the window. as part about 12:20 p.m. and fire crews stated that it was contained. while responding to the fire, crews receive reports that oxygen takes had exploded. two people were expertaken to hospital. the fire alarms did not alert most residents. >> highway heard the fire alarm go off but i did not think nothing of a. i saw people on site. >> i waited 10 minutes because i thought was say drill. it always happens.

>> the fire was contained abou 1250. the fire department stated that there was water damage. residents are back inside and they are a little bit tired. >> there are new details on this story that we first told you about yesterday morning on kron4. an amber alert is now cancelled and a personal interest in the case was found. 64 year-old roy mccamey was arrested last night. you can see this picture here. the cancellation comes on the heels of tuesday's please report that an elderly man and a 13 year-old girl were carjacked. it turns out that the 13 year-old girl, was actually 18 years old.

everyone involved in this apparently knew each other. police are still searching for the woman. >> in san jose today, the man suspected of kidnapping and killing morgan hill teen sierra lamar is in court on new charges. antolin garcia-torres faces several counts from a grand jury that include carjacking an attempted kidnapping. those charges are related to a tax of three women into gross restore parking lots in morgan hill in 2009. sierra kanar disappeared on he way to schoo 2000a lamaa lamar disan her way to school in 2012.

father of the trans gender woman who died in a struggle with police officers last year is when the city of berkeley. this is a federal civil-rights lawsuit, accusing the officers of causing her death by using excessive force. she was love unconscious after a struggle with police in an apartment complex last february. in the suit, her father says that she had a history of paranoia schizophrenia and the police restrained her to the point where she cannot breathe. the coroner determine the she died from an acute combined drug intoxication. he also stated that obesity and in large part contributed to her death. the city has now responded to the suit. maligned the debate over what to do with a large shipment of chobani yogurt that is sitting in a warehouse has come to an end

been found. 54-year-old roy mccamey was arrested last night. you see his picture here. the heels of tuesday's police report. that an elderly man and a 13-year- old girl. were carjacked and kidnapped by a man with a knife outside an oakland safeway store. this is surveillance video of the safeway store. it turns out the 13-year-old was over 18. and everyone involved apparently knew each other. police are still searching for the woman this morning. in san jose today, the man sierra lamar is in court on new charges. antolin garcia-torres faces several counts from a grand jury. they include carjacking and kidnapping.
